Visiting Livestock

As we are in the heart of the forest.  We are frequently ‘visited’ by cows and horses.  They usually only enter the car park but occasionally they venture nearer, although we don’t encourage this for health and safety reasons.

The animals belong to the local farmers who have grazing rights – “The traditional rights for commoners, which are usually held by virtue of the land or property they occupy, include: Pasturage The right to graze domestic stock is by far the most extensive right registered.”

We are also on the ‘run through’ for Deer, very occasionally the Stag.  As our office is surrounded by Forest and public walkways, sometimes a dog will stray into the yard too.  All in all, a great place to work.
