This year marks 35 years of Oak Craft and to celebrate, we’ll be opening the doors to our workshop this May.
On Saturday 16th May, we’ll be welcoming customers and anyone interested in a project to spend some time with us and see how everything comes together. It’s an opportunity to step behind the scenes, explore the workshop, and gain a clearer understanding of the process behind our oak-framed buildings.
If you’re thinking about your own oak-framed addition, you can book onto a guided workshop tour, led by Gareth Hemmings (Director) and Paul Wyatt (Designer). Running throughout the day in small groups, these tours are designed to give a clear, detailed look at how each project is brought to life, while allowing time to ask questions and talk through ideas.
Where possible, workshop machinery will be in operation, giving a real sense of a typical working day. A range of material and finish samples will also be on display, along with examples of recent projects. Refreshments will be available throughout the day while you explore and chat with the team.
Alongside this, we’ll also be hosting a trade open day on Friday 15th May, giving architects, designers and other trade professionals the opportunity to visit the workshop and see day-to-day production in more detail.
Both open days will run from 10am to 4pm and tickets must be booked in advance.
